Event Details

What is the date and time of the wedding?
Our ceremony begins at 12:00 noon, so if you’re joining us for this special moment, please arrive by 11:30am to get settled. The evening celebration kicks off at 6:00pm, but if you’re ready to start the fun early, doors open at 4:30pm — we’d love to see you then! Last orders will be around 10:30pm, to leave around 11:00pm.
Where is the ceremony and reception being held?
Both will take place at the beautiful Oakwell Hall & Country Park.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes! There’s plenty of parking available on-site.

Dress Code

What is the dress code for the wedding?
No strict theme - just come looking fabulous! Think suited and booted or your best party attire.
Are there any colour themes or attire restrictions?
Our colours are navy and yellow, so feel free to wear any other shades you love (just please avoid white).
Will the event be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be indoors, but there’s a lovely outdoor space to enjoy too.

How do I RSVP?

What is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by Friday 6th February 2026.
Can I bring a plus-one?
If your RSVP didn’t include a plus-one option, we’re sorry, space is limited, so we can’t accommodate extras.
Are children welcome?
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. Please make arrangements for childcare so you can relax and enjoy the day with us.

Are there recommended hotels nearby?
Yes! We’ll share a list of nearby hotels on the website for your convenience.
What’s the best way to get to the venue?
Oakwell Hall is easy to reach by car, and here is the address: Nova Ln, Birstall, Batley WF17 9LF, United Kingdom. Otherwise here is a link for Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Will transportation be provided between ceremony and reception?
No need—everything is at the same venue!

Food & Drinks

What type of meal will be served?
Day guests will enjoy a delicious cold buffet, and for the evening party, we’ve got a pizza van ready to serve up fresh slices!
Are there vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?
Absolutely—options will be available for both daytime and evening guests.
Will there be an open bar?
We’ll have a bar, but it won’t be open - so please bring cash or card for drinks.

Gifts

Do you have a gift registry?
No registry, we truly believe your presence is the greatest gift!
Can I give a cash gift?

If you’d like to contribute, we’d be so grateful. There’s a link on the site for this, but again, no pressure—just having you there means the world to us.

Is it okay to bring gifts to the venue?
Yes, we’ll have a table for gifts and cards if you’d like to bring something along.

Photography & Social Media

Can guests take photos during the ceremony?
Feel free to snap a few photos, but please be mindful of our photographer and avoid blocking the aisle.
Is there a wedding hashtag?

Are there any restrictions on posting pictures online?
We’d love for you to share, but please wait until we post first - thank you!

Special Activities

Will there be dancing or entertainment?
Yes! We’ve got a surprise daytime activity and a DJ to keep the party going all night.
Are there any pre-wedding or post-wedding events?
No - just the big day!
